This will allow people to click on them or to get a solid backlink. Try joining up at several larger forums and posting a few times once you have put in your link. You'd be surprised how quickly your site will build up. Of course this task is something that will require a lot of time because it's only worth it if you do it with a lot of forums. Many Webmasters just join up at 10, make a couple of posts, then move on to the next 10. It does have great returns.
